It was a short, spectacular plane ride from Auckland to Queenstown to link up with Ol, Rosie and Sid again. They'd happily booked a holiday home there for 8 nights to have a break from shaky Christchurch. It's in a gorgeous location high above the town with beautiful views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables.
We've got a rental car and have done some exploring...
Arrowtown
Cromwell
Wanaka
and shopping at the fabulously situated farmers' market and shopping complex
There's also been plenty of time in the apartment just enjoying Sid and the views
And listening to the Wonkey Donkey on the iPad
