Queenstown to Christchurch

It's easy to see why visitors think NZ is so beautiful when you visit Queenstown. Everywhere you look it is fabulous. One day we drove up beside the lake to Glenorchy
I took Sid for a walk beside the lake while his parents had a quiet lunch. We flew back to Christchurch (35 minutes) alongside the Southern Alps and got great views of Lakes Ohau and Wanaka. Mt Cook is in there somewhere.
We had one night at Ol and Rosie's old place, then it was Moving Day. There was much stuff to shift, but it all got done and sorted.
This was not earthquake damage, just Ol sorting out the electronics.
Sid's playroom, just off the kitchen/living area emerged like a butterfly from a cocoon.
It's a cute early 20th century cottage in a nice part of town, close to Hagley Park and the CBD, not that that is a recommendation at the moment. It has a small but perfectly formed backyard with no grass, but the intrepid Sid was not at all daunted by crawling on the bricks.
First look at the great outdoors
Checking the hose for nutritional qualities...
but deciding that leaves were a better option
