The hills are alive

I've really enjoyed Innsbruck. It's small enough to get around easily, very pretty, and full of fantastic things to look at. If you're not interested in art, this blog is not the place for you. Each church seems more fantastic than the last - they are breathtaking...

The old state apartments were sumptuous

The Rennaisance art work is beautiful.

I particularly liked the minature Christmas scenes at the Folk Art Museum - they were huge scenes full of intricate, tiny people and animals

and it's not all old art

I haven't just been inside though. I went to the top of a very scary ski jump and also got a funicular then gondola up a very steep and terrifying mountain, but the view was worth it

It was very hot - I think the cows were feeling it too. Very Sound of Music.
