It's a long way from Auckland to Zurich - the longest non-stop leg is 14 hours and total flying time is about 24 hours, however you do eventually get there. It was good to get back to Blake and Adrianne's house, which was new to them when I'd left in December, and to see the changes. There was just enough time to get from Harry's 4th birthday in Auckland to Benjy's 4th in Basel.

Fortunately I could still walk in the hills around Muttenz and enjoy the spring flowers
We went to the beautiful historic town of Rheinfelden, just a short drive away, at the weekend for lunch. White asparagus is a speciality this time of year.
