Zoo pictures for the grandchildren

Today we went to the zoo, which is really good in Singapore. First were the tigers...

then the pygmy hippos

the elephants...

and it was feeding time at the monkeys - hey one has the same colour hair as me!

the waterpark was fun in the middle of a hot day

Flynn loves a buggy (I thought they were a good idea too)

the penguins were cute

and here's a manatee that I'd only ever heard of from Daisy and Zach's jigsaw

the crocodile ignored the tortoise wandering past

the giant turtles were huge

and the komodo dragon was big too

this was a strange, scaly underwater creature called a crocodile biter (or something)

the tiger thought having an afternoon snooze was a good idea too

Flynn was sensibly wary of the lions

zebras

cheetahs

rhinos

Flynn scored a penguin umbrella

After all that walking, Adrianne and Blake braved the fish therapy where hoards of little fish nibble the dead skin off your feet. Adrianne could only get her heels in and Blake had a lot of trouble not leaping out (evidently it tickles)
