I had a nice welcome at Dubai airport from an excited Daisy and Zach and a happy Bastie. It was lovely to see them. Bastie has changed a lot. He's got more hair, two teeth, sits up and rolls over and tries to crawl.

Daisy can swim halfway across the pool in the deep end now and is just starting to read
We tried out Stargate, a new children's indoor play area on Saturday. It has three floors and had just about everything kids want - including two 3D cinemas, an ice rink, bumper cars and go karts, a shooting range, art gallery, roller coaster (although that wasn't apparent), etc as well as traditional rides and a huge range of state of the art ride-on video game machines. One was particularly good. It vibrated and rocked and blew air at you and had a choice of racing car/space ride type rides.

The soft play area for small children was very good. Daisy and Zach went down one of the big spiral slides.
After all that excitement, we went home, went to the pool, then out to the local golf club restaurant for dinner. Another very good Saturday!
