The Ellises are staying at a hotel 15 minutes walk over the river from Blake and Adrianne's. It has a great view of the river and the bottom photo looks back at the apartment complex, far-centre.
The pool was very nice and we spent this morning sitting around it and in it. Then after lunch for some, and a wee lie down for others, we walked along the river to the Singapore Flyer, the big wheel.
While the others went up in the Flyer, I walked across the new double helix bridge to have a look at the casino. hotel and shopping complex. It is stunning, complete with canal and gondolas. There's a Skypark in the boat on top of the three towers, but that will have to wait for another day.
We had dinner at a vegetarian restaurant on Orchard Road.
